My name is Jane Weisman and I'm a graduating senior in advertising-yeah! Like most graduating seniors, I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I mean, I've only had 22 years to decide what I want to do with my life and I'm still clueless. Doesn't 22 sound so old? I feel like time is running out for me to do something fun and spontaneous without having to worry about responsibilites or committments. After taking a class on Generation X, I realize that this predicament isn't that unusual for many graduating seniors.
So, why not travel or work abroad in this diverse world? The way I see things, I can learn more about myself and other cultures by experiencing different country's traditions. The feeling of not knowing the language, the people, where you are going geographically or where you going to sleep helps create a very laid-back, independant person who is able to handle tough situations by looking at them as "little adventures."
